Keeney proposed two sets of objectives means objectives and fundamental objectives that influence Internet commerce.

Means objectives include (Keeney 1999)

Maximize accuracy of transaction
Maximize access to information: have many search possibilities, facilitate information gathering, and maximize
transaction speed.
Assure system security, minimize misuse of credit card, and minimize misuse of personal information.
Maximize ease of use: maximize ease of the purchase, and simplify finding desired product.
Provide reliable delivery.
