4.2 Answering people’s greeting

4.2.1 Presentation
When you greet other people, they might greet you also. Or maybe they are the one who will greet you first. Whatever it is, you should reply with appropriate sentences.

When someone says ‘Hello’ to you, your answer is:

   “Hello”
   (hello)

When they say “assalamualaikum”, you answer:

   “Waalaikumsalam..”
   (if they are Muslims)

When they ask “apa khabar”, you answer:

   Khabar baik
   (I am fine)

4.2 Answering people’s greeting

When they say “salam sejahtera” to you, you answer the same phrase:

   Salam sejahtera
   (peace on you)

When they ask “apa khabar”, you answer:

   Khabar baik
   (I am doing fine)

When they ask you, “awak sihat?”, you should answer:

   Saya sihat/baik.
   (I am fine)

When they ask you, “siapakah nama awak?”, you should answer:

   Nama saya…
   (my name is…)
