Introduction
The political life of Islam is based on sound spiritual and moral foundations, and is guided by Divine instructions. The political system of Islam is unique in its structure, its function, and its purpose. It is not pragmatic or instrumentalistic. It is not theocracy whereby a certain class of people assumes Divine rights, hereditary or otherwise, and poses above citizens, beyond accountability. Nor is it a proletariat whereby some vengeful laborers capture power. It is something different from all that. Politics in Islam has its specific goals , the most important of which is to ensure justice and equality among all members of the society and to achieve security and stability, as well as preserve the teachings of religion from the oddities of frivolous people from inside and the perfidy of its enemies from outside. In this topic the political reality of the Muslim Ummah will be dealt with. The national and international circumstances of the Islamic world will be put under scrutiny. Moreover, a light will be shed on the states and statelets that are established in the Islamic world, and their effect on the present situation.
