Introduction

All praise is due to Allah; and blessings and peace be upon His messenger and servant, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions and whoever follows his guidance until the Day of Resurrection.

This book is an attempt to acquaint the students with a true and honest picture of the current state of the Islamic world. It will cover certain aspects of the Islamic world, its geography, its economy, its politics and its current social system. It will also provide the student with a brief report about the various Islamic organizations and its impact on the Muslim world.

The book is also an attempt to trace the causes of the decline of the Muslim Ummah and the factors that will lead to regaining its glory. In other words, it is an analysis of the success and failure of the Muslim Ummah. It will shed the light on the future possibilities of the rise of the Muslim Ummah and the conditions required to regain its pioneering position to contribute in building the world's civilization.
