2.3 Whomsoever Allah has given power, or permitted them some spiritual unravelling, or miraculous deeds that defy the normal cosmic laws are not worthy of any forms of worship
Dear brother student, undoubtedly the one worthy of worship is Allah the Most Magnificent because He is the Creator of the universe and the Manager of its affairs. For the purpose of worshipping Allah, Jinn and Man were created. Allah the All Exalted says:
| [الذاريات:٥٦] |
(( |
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالأِنْسَ إِلا لِيَعْبُدُونِ |
)) |
I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. [51:56]
He sent His Messengers and revealed His Books in order to deliver mankind from the worship of others other than Allah to the worship of Allah the All Exalted alone. Allah says:
| [النحل:٣٦] |
(( |
وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولاً أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ |
)) |
For We assuredly sent amongst every People an apostle, (with the Command), "Serve Allah, and eschew Evil" [16:36]
2.3 Whomsoever Allah has given power, or permitted them some spiritual unravelling, or miraculous deeds that defy the normal cosmic laws are not worthy of any forms of worship
This form of worship requested of creation is the intermediary mean between them and Allah the All Exalted just as the prophecy and message are the intermediary means between Allah the All Exalted and His creation. This worship for which the Oneness of worship (توحيد العبودية) is realised is the pillar upon which Tawheed rests. Sincerity in the worship of Allah the All Exalted is requested by Quran from the pre-Islamic Jahily Arabs in order to preserve their wealth, honour and blood. The Messenger (SAW) fought them for their insincerity in the worship of Allah.
If we were to find those upon whose hands miraculous acts that defy the laws of nature are performed, then it is either a satanic situation or allurement, or miracles to the pious; except that all this is not beyond the power of Allah and that He is the One who allowed such acts to be performed on the hands of such people. Thus it is not permissible to believe in he who sees spiritual unravelling and divine influences or to associate to them any forms of worship or to believe he enjoys any part of Divine Lordship as is the belief of the people of desire and innovation.

Sheikh San’ Allah al-Halabi -may Allah show him mercy-in his refutation of those prescribing to this belief:
“There have appeared among Muslims groups claiming for the saintly authorities in this life and after their death. They beseech their assistance in difficulties and testing tribulations and with them as their resolution their goals are achieved. They frequent their graves and invoke them to answer their needs all them time claiming that this is part of the miracles of the pious. They say: among them are generals and captains, the firmly secured and pedigreed, seventy and seven, forty and four, and the leader is the relief for mankind, around him rotates all existence without compromise. These claims are indeed negligence that exceed all limits but rather that in such words is eternal devastation and grievous punishment for what it entails from manifest shirk and conflict with the Glorious Quran, in addition to its contradicting the belief of the Imams and what the Ummah are unanimously agreed upon.” Here ends his remarks.
