Assalamualikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatuhu.

Welcome to the second lesson in the series of lessons required within the subject of Islamic belief for this academic semester. We hope that throughout the duration of this course you will find that your religious conviction (iman) will strengthen and increase you with useful knowledge.

In this lesson you will become acquainted with what it means to commit polytheism (shirk) in the Oneness of Divine Lordship (توحيد الرُّبوبيَّة). Supplementary to this you will become acquainted with which precedes the other, i.e. is it shirk or Tawheed, in addition to an accompanying explanation of the rarity of those claiming multiple deities.
