Introduction


We are going to present some of the ways and methods which were been used by the Islamic education in achieving its greatest target which is building the Muslim human who has got three duties. These three duties are:

1. Worshiping,only, Allah "I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me." (ZARIYAT 56).
2. The agent of Allah (Almighty) in this earth "Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: I will create a vicegerent on
earth. They said: With thou place therein one who will make Mischief therein and shed blood? whilst we do
celebrate thy praises and glorify thy holy (name)? he said: I know what ye know not." (BAQARAH 30).
3. The worker on the earth "To the Thamud people (we sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. he said O my
people worship God: we have no other God but him. it is he who hath produced you from the earth and
settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of him, and turn to him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always)
near, ready to answer" (HUD 61). As the noble of the aim and the highness of the target, the method and
the way of achieving this target and aim are of a noble characteristics, specially, the educator, from the
beginning, was the teacher of the humanity Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and his students were the first
generation.

Introduction


This is the cause of the Islamic education success from its start. This success which lighted the whole world from China in the East to Spain in the West. That enables the Muslim people to control the world and to govern it in a way that has not got an example before.

History of Islamic education tells us that it did not use only one method in teaching, but it used many different methods in educating its children. It took in account the specifications and characteristics of the students and the environment that surrounded them. We can conclude the reasons that made it successful to its students in the following:

1. The different ways and methods that the Islamic education followed in teaching its students.
2. It took in its account the natural differences between the students.
3. It studied the environment that surrounded the students to choose the suitable methods for them.
4. It motivated the students to go deeper and further in the learning operation.

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is the one who dug these bases. For that, we are going to introduce some ways and methods which the Prophet (pbuh) used to teach his followers and the world after them, then we will compare his methods with the modern ones.
