These features represent the foundations and the general rules for the teaching methods in Islamic education. These features are:

b. Unity and inclusiveness

Moral basis

Islam considers the education is an operation that is responsible for achieving a fundamental goal in life which is worshiping Allah in the broadest sense. Education, therefore, is one of the best features of worshiping in Islam . Its domain is the universe, its center is the man and its objective is the believing life. In this Allah says "I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve me." (ZARIYAT: 56).

Also, he says "That is God, your lord there is no God but he, the creator of all things: then worship ye him: and he hath power to dispose of all affaires (102) No vision can grasp him, but his grasp is over all vision: he is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things. (103)" (AN'AM: 102-103). Here, it must be noted...

...that the concept of worshiping in Islam is a broad one. It's broad in the content, in time and in place.

In term of content: The governor who amends among people is in worshiping Allah. The fighter for the
sake of Allah is in worshiping Allah (The Almighty). This indicates the fact that the educational operation
is, also, worshiping Allah, The teacher, who teaches people the good, is in worshiping Allah by his
teaching. The learner, who is seeking for knowledge and the facts, is in worshiping Allah. This
educational operation results are mentioned by Allah when he says" O we who believe! When we are
told to make room in the assemblies, (Spread out and) make room: (ample) room will God provide for
you. And when we are told to rise up, rise up: God will raise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those
of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) knowledge. And God is well acquainted with all
we do." (MUJADILAH: 11) Also, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said "whenever walked in a way seeking
for science, Allah will let him walk in a path to paradise"
In term of place: There are obligatory duties Muslims must do in exact times to be acceptable by Allah,
such as Pilgrimage and Omra where they should be performed in the Holly Mosque in Mecca.

In term of time: There are obligatory duties Muslims must do in exact times to be acceptable by Allah
but the worshiping in its broad sense, includes the voluntary duties which Muslims can do, at any time

childhood and youth but it is a kind of worshiping stresses the continuity of education along the life
following the Holy Quran when it says "High above all is God, The King, the Truth! be not in haste with the
Quran before its completed, but say, O my Lord! Advance me in knowledge" ( TA'HA 114).

Unity and Inclusiveness

The principles of unity in the Islamic education are reflected in the educational process in terms of the unity of the integrated growth of the individual in the cadre of the society and the world. This will give the Islamic education its function in the field of knowledge and art on the international level.

As for the unity of humanity, the whole humanity is created by Allah (The Almighty). It exists for knowing each other and to cooperate for the good and to refuse the bad or the evil. It works on achieving the principle of equality and justice among human beings and, finally, to prepare the atmosphere for worshiping Allah the lord of words when he says "O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that we may know each other (not that we may despise each other). Verily the...

...most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)." (HUJURAT:13) and "We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures" (ANBIYA:107).

Islam cares about the existence of the right conscious and to be aware of all what are around it as well as motivates it to follow the wisdom where it is when it says "Say: travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected truth" (AN'AM :11)
