3.2 The curriculum of the four orthodox schools of thought

From the previous section "classification of knowledge in Islam", ,the knowledge objectives were for educating the Muslim individual who can contribute, positively and effectually, in reclaiming and constructing the earth according to Allah's will and instructions for the Islamic knowledge nature is both theoretical and practical where there is no value to one nature without the other . The Holy Quran where it says

"O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not? (2) Grievously odious is it in the sight of God that ye say that which ye do not. (3) " (SAFF 2-3)

From this comprehensive view of the knowledge, the Islamic scholars of the four Islamic orthodox worked hard to clarify this connection between the two natures and to assure its importance in search and practice.

The investigator or the researcher to the analyses and the ideas that were about the knowledge topics in the four Islamic orthodox were agreed in the following:
1- The interest in the total picture of knowledge which means, knowledge should be taken from all
the sides with an integrated way and should take in its account the structures of both of
the human and the society.
2- The care of the overall theory in knowing things which helps in recognizing the relations
between the different kinds of sciences and achieving the balancing between them.

being excellent at Arabic language sciences as well as the student who learns history cannot reach
high levels without studying and understanding the Geography and the nature of the geographical
circumstance of the area of the events , so the learner of the Islamic knowledge should master the
helping sciences that make the basic science complete to him.
