This is related to the way humans interact with information – thinking process, action, and consequences.
The orientation of this approach is to facilitate better decision making through the interaction that occurs among humans and information systems.
The economical approach looks at the effect of IS in issues related to costing within the business and studies the markets in which the business operates in.
The sociology behavioral approach studies how individuals and businesses make use of information systems in relation to the society they operate in.
It takes account of what the society considers to be culturally accepted and helps shape some sociological guidelines that have to be reflected in the IS in use.
Overall, the behavioral IS approach is concerned with the use of information rather than the technicalities.
