CRT Is an acronym for Cathode-Ray Tube. It refers to the "screen" part, where you see the picture. CRT is the most common means for making CG visible

Raster (Bitmap) Graphics Format Image is composed of a pattern of dots arranged in rows and columns. The value of each dot (whether it is filled in or not) is stored in one or more bits of data (e.g. GIF, JPEG)
Vector Graphics Format Images are represented as mathematical formulas that define all the shapes in the image (e.g. Shockwave Flash (SWF)). Vector graphics are resolution independent, which means that they retain crisp edges when enlarged
