Interface is an interaction between user and system. It's a method which users interact with an information system. An interface is a medium where users interact with the system. A user interface should provide a friendly interface which users can interact with the system to process inputs and obtain an output. In the previous lessons, we have learned how to design good input and output. Interface design is where we integrate both input and output design into an overall user interfaces that established the communication between users and system. Interface design focuses on how information system is provided to and captured from users to an information system. Figure 11-1 shows that user interface design should be conducted after both input and output design.
