In Lesson 2, we discussed two major activities involved during the system planning phase. System planning is the first phase of system development meanwhile system analysis is a second phase in system development. System analysis is a phase where we determine how the current information system assesses what users would like to see in a new system. There are three main activities involved during the system analysis phase :

	Requirements gathering
	Data modeling
	Process Modeling

In this lesson, we will discuss on the first activity in system analysis; requirements gathering. This lesson consists of two sections :

	overview of requirement gathering
	fact-finding techniques
	planning the system development project
	feasibility study involved during system planning phase
