Introduction

This is an introduction lesson in system analysis and design. Before we explain detail phases in system analysis and design which is the main components in this course, we need to understand the concept of information system. This lesson consists of four sections:

	an overview of information system
	types of information systems
	stakeholders involved in the systems development
	system development life cycle
