An entrepreneur takes significant amount risk in being the title-holder and operator of a business with prospects of monetary income and other rewards that the business may produce.
On the opposite, an intrapreneur is a person engaged by a business corporation for payment of salary, which is based on the financial accomplishment of the division he is answerable for.
Intrapreneurs share the similar qualities as entrepreneurs such as sincerity, enthusiasm, and insight.
As the intrapreneur continues to expresses his ideas vigorously, it will reveal the gap between the philosophy of the organization and the employee. If the organization supports him in pursuing his ideas, he succeeds. If not, he is likely to leave the organization and set up his own business.
